DSCallards Hold Successful Training Seminar with LEAD Technologies - "Harnessing the Power of Image Processing"

15th May, 2008 – DSCallards held a successful training seminar with LEAD Technologies, the US-based world-leading supplier of imaging development toolkits, entitled “Harnessing the Power of Image Processing” at IBM Bedfont Lakes, London, on Wednesday 14th May 2008.

DSCallards, who have been the number one reseller of LEADTOOLS solutions in the UK for a number of years, worked in conjunction with Greg Kieslich and Travis Montgomery from LEAD Technologies when they visited London to carry out the first in a series of interactive training seminars across Europe, with destinations including Netherlands, Germany, Madrid and Barcelona.

“The customer training seminar in London was an excellent opportunity to showcase the LEADTOOLS product line and to interact directly with our UK customer base”, said Greg Kieslich, Technical Sales Account Manager, LEAD Technologies.

The seminar highlighted the current LEADTOOLS Version 15 product line and provided a preview of the LEADTOOLS Version 16 product roadmap. Technical demonstrations and discussions were focused on the LEADTOOLS Medical, Document and Multimedia engines.

“The training seminar was very well received by the audience”, said Ben Hedger, Senior Business Development Consultant, DSCallards. “The session was interactive and covered a lot of ground from document and medical imaging (DICOM standards), to WPF (Image Manipulation and WIC Codecs) to Multimedia tools such as video streaming, capture and conversion to DVD creation”.
